Two FAO Gambia staff receive FAO's annual employee recognition awards 2020

The award recognizes their roles as individuals and team players in FAO’s drive to achieve the Global Goals and eradicate hunger.

“Louise and Ensa have put the FAO Gambia office on the map”, said the proud FAOR, Moshibudi Rampedi. Ensa Bojang, FAO driver, and Louise Yacine Agathe Tine, FAO programme officer, are amongst the 200 FAO colleaguesrecognized for remarkable performance under extraordinary circumstances in an exceptional year. Their names were announced during an online webinar held on 17 December. This is the second edition of the annual initiative, launched by FAO Director-General (DG), Qu Dongyu, last year. This award recognizes their roles as individuals and team players in FAO’s drive to achieve the Global Goals and eradicate hunger.
