United Nations Response Plan COVID-19, United Nations in The Gambia – July 2020
10 July 2020

The COVID-19 Response Plan is a joint effort by members of United Nations Country Team (UNCT) to prepare and respond to the direct public health and indirect and immediate humanitarian consequences of the pandemic, particularly on vulnerable population. This Response Plan (RP) builds on a joint analysis of the immediate health and non-health needs of vulnerable populations, and offers a multisectoral response to the pandemic, including issues related to the increased vulnerability to socio-economic impacts. UN’s COVID-19 Response Plan complements and supports existing government responses and national coordination mechanisms, in line with humanitarian principles.
